“Find the love of your life this Valentine’s Day and make it an extra special occasion. Let
the Ocean County Animal Facilities play matchmaker and unite you with the perfect cat or dog
your heart’s been aching for,” said Ocean County Freeholder Director Gerry P. Little, Liaison to the Ocean County Board of Health. “Beginning Tuesday, February 14, through Sunday, February 19, adopt any senior pet or other select pets and we’ll waive the adoption fee. These homeless pets have been patiently waiting for a new home at one of our shelters. In addition, all of the animals available for adoption have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Our volunteer friends will even throw in a starter kit full of treats and other pet goodies.”
Daniel Regenye, Ocean County Health Department Public Health Coordinator, said, “The
Ocean County Health Department’s two animal shelters are consistently at full capacity with
unwanted pets that are in desperate need of a forever home . So if you are looking for love, then
look no further than the Ocean County Animal Facilities this Valentine’s Day.” Brian Lippai, Manager of the Ocean County Animal Facilities, said, “This is a great time for future pet owners to visit the Animal Facilities, get to meet and greet our sheltered animals, learn the benefits of pet adoption, and possibly bring home the newest member of the family.”
