Grizzly

Grizzly is a sweet and loving lady who is looking to be adopted. She likes to sit next to people and get pets. Grizzly can be shy at first but she warms up quickly. She would do best in a home with no kids under 15 and a home that had experience with large breed dogs. Grizzly is up to date on shots, spayed and ready for her forever home.

Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) are caused by bacteria or viruses usually transmitted by sexual activity with an infected person. With the exception of viral infections, most STDs can be cured. If you think you have an STD or need to be screened don't hesitate to come in to the clinic.

The Ocean County Health Department offers free, confidential testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases (Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia - anonymous HIV testing is available if requested). At the clinic, patients are usually called in order of arrival but there are some exceptions such as follow-up patients present solely for treatment. The clinic visit will involve several steps: registration, interview, blood draw, and exam; results/medications are provided once the results of screening tests are made available by the laboratory. Medication is provided FREE for those who are symptomatic.

We will make every effort to answer all your questions and concerns during your visit. You will receive information and counseling on ways to protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases and free condoms are offered at the end of the visit.

The Ocean County Health Department offers STD clinics every Wednesday evening at 175 Sunset Avenue, Toms River and, beginning February 2012, every 2nd and 4th Thursday evening at 333 Haywood Road, Manahawkin. Registration is from 5:00pm – 6:00pm by appointment only.

Call 732-341-9700 ext. 7604 to set up an appointment or for more information about any of our services.
