“The Ocean County Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program continues its annual celebration of National Nutrition Month at the Ocean County Mall County Connections, located near JC Penney in Toms River, New Jersey,” said Ocean County Freeholder Deputy Director Gerry P. Little, Liaison to the Ocean County Board of Health.
Staff from the Ocean County WIC Program will be present including a WIC Program Nutritionist, who is a registered dietician, and breastfeeding staff promoting the theme of National Nutrition Month, "Savor the Flavor of Eating Right".
The Program Nutritionist will be promoting "Healthy Eating/Healthy Lifestyle" and the benefits of participating in the Ocean County WIC Program. A display and handouts that promote the theme of National Nutrition Month, "Healthy Eating/Healthy Lifestyle", the benefits of breastfeeding and participation in the WIC Program will be on display. The dates and the times of this activity will be March 22 and March 24, 2016 from 10 am - 3 pm.
