The Ocean County Health Department offers confidential and anonymous HIV counseling and testing at 175 Sunset Avenue, Toms River.  Every client meets with a New Jersey State Certified HIV counselor to discuss his/her circumstances and personal risks for HIV.  Cients will need to be retested at least 6 months from his/her last risk in order to receive conclusive results.

Appointments for HIV counseling and testing are recommended and can be made by calling 732-341-9700, ext. 7613 or 7682.  Walk-in testing is available on Wednesdays from 3-8pm at the Toms River site and on the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 4 - 6pm in Stafford at 333 Haywood Rd., Manahawkin.
