March 23, 2020The Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) website at www.ochd.org has just been updated with the newest COVID-19 case count for Ocean County. There are a total of 44 new cases being reported between the Ocean County and Long Beach Island Health Departments in the following municipalities;
Barnegat 1 case
Berkeley 1 Case
Brick 2 Cases
Jackson 5 Cases
Lacey 3 Cases
Lakewood 16 cases
Little Egg Harbor 1 case
Long Beach Township 2 cases
Manchester 1 case
Point Pleasant Borough 2 cases
Plumsted 1 case
Stafford 1 case
Toms River 8 cases
This brings the total case count for Ocean County to 98 as of 2:00pm Saturday, March 21, 2020. The OCHD will continue to update the www.ochd.org website each afternoon with daily COVID-19 case totals for Ocean County.
The OCHD is also providing a COVID-19 Information Call Line for residents and clinicians to answer questions regarding the coronavirus. The number is 732-341-9700 ext. 7411. This call line will be staffed through the weekend to answer questions from residents. Staff from the Health Department will also continue to work through the evening and weekend to continue working on this situation.
