Due to the significant increase in the volume of calls due to the COVID-19 vaccine roll out and scheduling process, the Ocean County Health Department (OCHD) is announcing the upgrade of its current phone system. The upgrade will better serve Ocean County residents by providing two additional phone lines to replace its current COVID-19 ext. 7411 Information Call Center.

Residents are encouraged to use the following two new phone numbers: The new local number is 732-380-5079 and the new toll free line is 833-544-0288. Both numbers are operational as of today, February 10, 2021. The OCHD COVID-19 Information Call Center has been an important resource for residents and clinicians since early in the pandemic. Representatives of the call center can answer general questions regarding the disease, exposure, quarantine and spread, to contract tracing, testing, and now, vaccination.

The OCHD main number is still available at 732-341-9700 for residents seeking NON-RELATED COVID-19 QUESTIONS and to be directed to other agency departments, programs and employees.

For additional information residents can visit us at www.ochd.org or the OCHD Facebook page.
