BOOST NJ DAY IS DECEMBER 15, 2021: December 15 marks the one-year anniversary of the first COVID-19 vaccinations in New Jersey. Since December 24, 2020, the Ocean County Health Department has dispensed close to 121,100 vaccines.   Today, we are still battling one variant - Delta - while another, Omicron, may pose a new concern for our residents.

Since Thanksgiving, we have seen cases and hospitalizations continue to rise due to the holidays, increased travel and variants. Yet only 34% of New Jersey’s over 4.5 million residents eligible for booster shots have received one.   With an average of 35,000 booster doses administered in our state per day, there is still some work to do in further protecting our residents.

Get vaccinated on Boost NJ Day at the Ocean County Connection from 10am-2pm or at any of our upcoming COVID-19 and flu vaccination clinics. Visit www.ochd.org for more vaccine details and a complete OCHD clinic schedule for the month of December.   ***OCHD COVID-19 AND FLU CLINIC COMING UP AT OCEAN COUNTY CONNECTION ON DECEMBER 15, 2021 AT 10AM-2PM OR THE RWJ BARNABAS ARENA - 10AM-3PM. LOCATION: OCEAN COUNTY CONNECTION OFFICE AT OCEAN COUNTY MALL**
