Earlier this week, Ocean Gate Elementary school children had the opportunity to spend the day at the Toms River Field of Dreams playground and sports complex.
The students had a blast while engaging in team-building activities at the Toms River Field of Dreams Complex.
Everyone kept busy in games of kickball, basketball, mini-golf and many other physical and cognitive playground attractions.
The Municipal Alliance was able to finance part of this adventure for the students and their adventures! The lesson from teachers is they are all part of one team and to recognize that outdoor play and games are a great way to live a healthy lifestyle.
The 2023 theme is “Be Kind to Your Mind” Red Ribbon Week.
Red Ribbon Week highlights the importance of living a drug-free life. It presents an opportunity for parents, educators, and communities to reinforce the drug-free messages they share with their children throughout the year.
During Red Ribbon Week, youth and adults around the nation pledge to increase their knowledge by learning more about the destructive effects of drug abuse, including prescription drug misuse, and renew their commitment to live a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
