Who can apply for WIC? – Income eligible families may apply for WIC at any time.  You can check your income eligibility here
 
Where can I use WIC vouchers? - New Jersey WIC benefits may only be used in New Jersey and at a participating WIC vendor.

Do adoptive parents qualify? – Yes, as long as the child or family is eligible adoptive parents can claim WIC benefits!
 
My child is five, do we qualify? – Your child will only be eligible for WIC benefits until they are five years old

  What type of benefits does WIC offer? – WIC provides healthy foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare and other services, all free of charge for participants!
 
What is eWIC? – The New Jersey WIC Program is beginning to move from paper checks to eWIC, which is an electronic swipe card that holds your monthly benefits.  This card can be used at many grocery stores.  Food not purchased in one shopping trip will longer expire and will now be available until the end of the benefit period.
